A&E Keeltekool offers a course of Russian as a foreign language for adults and high school students.
The focus of teaching is first of all on developing conversational skills. In class our teachers use audio materials created by Russian and Estonian philologists, as well as original radio recordings. Students learn not only to understand Russian speech, but also how to promptly and appropriately react to it, catch necessary details and fulfill tasks based on the audio materials.
Developing conversational skills aims at teaching a student to use Russian in everyday situations and solving work problems. Students are taught to think out loud, interpret what is heard and make conclusions.
Teachers also pay attention to developing reading and writing skills. Students practice writing personal and official letters, CVs and autobiographies, all types of invitations and congratulations as well as memos, applications and notes.
Upon successful completion of our Russian language course, students will be able to independently operate in all kinds of everyday situations, read and understand Russian language texts, solve work problems and continue their studies in Russian at a higher level.
We are especially proud that our course of Russian as a foreign language includes cultural and historical aspects, and introduces students to the traditions and customs of Russian-speaking societies. In such a way, we plan to achieve our goal - through culture bring nations closer that live near each other but speak different languages.
Our course of Russian as a foreign language consists of 120 to 140 academic hours depending on the starting level of the group or 16/24 academic hours a month, including conversational practice. The first lesson is FREE!

At the end of the course each student will take an internal A&E Keeltekool test. Upon passing it successfully, the student will receive a certificate stating that the student has taken and passed a Russian-as-a-foreign-language course.
